Who runs Chhotu

Arcodia Chhotu ("Chhotu") is an app made and run by Arcodia Platforms Private Limited, a company registered in Mumbai, India. 1&O is Arcodia's marketing agency brand; its Instagram account is @oneandocompany. Questions about this page go to [email protected].

How to ask us to delete your data

Use whichever is easier. Both work for every account Chhotu runs on.

• Email [email protected] with the subject line Chhotu data deletion, and include your Instagram username, so we can find your messages.
• Or send a direct message saying "delete my data" to the Instagram account you wrote to. Chhotu reads that account's messages, so your request reaches us.

You don't need to give a reason, and you don't need an account with us.

The two kinds of account Chhotu works on

• Arcodia's own account, @oneandocompany. If you message or comment there, Arcodia decides what happens to what you sent, and everything on this page is our own promise to you.
• Accounts of 1&O's clients, the brands whose Instagram we manage, who have authorised Chhotu on their account. If you message or comment there, we handle what you sent on that brand's behalf and follow its instructions. We don't use it for anything of our own, and the limits on this page still apply.

Either way, send your request to us. We will delete your data from Chhotu for any account it runs on. You don't need to contact the brand first, and we won't send you to them.

What happens next

• Within 30 days, we delete everything Chhotu holds about you: your username and Instagram-scoped ID, your messages and comments, attachment details, timestamps, and any reply drafts that quote them. This covers our database and our own computers.
• We then confirm it's done, replying the way you asked: by email, or by direct message.
• Even if you never ask, Chhotu deletes everything it holds about you 90 days after it arrives.

What deletion doesn't cover

Instagram keeps its own copy of your messages and comments, and the conversation stays in the account's Instagram inbox. We can't delete those for you. To manage what Instagram holds, use the Instagram Privacy Center, or delete your own messages and comments in the Instagram app.
